After more than ten years making cakes, I am finally hanging up my apron (at least for now) to concentrate on my family. All existing orders and wedding cakes for next year will be going ahead as planned and all teaching commitments will still take place but I am not taking on any new orders (unless you really really really want a cake from me and think you can persuade me!)

It has been a tough decision to reach but one which is right for my family. I will still be doing gingerbread and hopefully some other exciting stuff down the line.

In the meantime if you need a talented cake maker, check out my contact us page for details of Nicci, Harriet and Sophie who all used to work for me and all make amazing cakes. They will be very happy to help you!

It made a stunning centre piece for our event and everyone commented on not only how amazing it looked but the fact that it tasted incredible and no-one would have guessed that it was both gluten free and vegan" Hannah Kinsey, Equality and Diversity Team, Brighton University

"I just wanted to thank you for the fabulous cake. Jel was chuffed... not only did it look great but it tastes delicious too. We are still happily working our way through it.
Many thanks for helping us make Jel’s birthday a very special one." Shirley Ann-Marie Norris
